In forklift operations, operator safety is of Paramount importance to us. This is our primary consideration when designing a new product or updating an existing one. To protect the driver while operating one of our machines, we have built a number of forklift safety features into the design. Here are six forklift safety features available in our range of forklifts:

1) Presence Detection System (PDS)

PDS is a system that prevents trucks from operating when the operator is not in the seat. When the driver's seat is empty, the drive function and hydraulic function are disconnected. It includes automatic parking brakes and ramp keeping.

Combined, the functionality of the PDS ensures that the forklift cannot be driven without an operator seated, therefore, it prevents any accidents that could cause damage to the vehicle and, most importantly, it ensures worker safety in the operating area.

2) Easy access

To help the operator get on and off the vehicle safely, we have installed long grab rods for easy placement and wide grab steps. Together, these features make it easy for the driver to get into a comfortable cab.

3) Better steering

Our forklifts are equipped with adjustable steering columns. This forklift safety feature allows the operator to adjust the steering column to their liking for comfortable operation.

Some of our forklifts come with electronic direction control that allows easy and smooth shifting between forward and backward driving without the driver having to remove their hands from the wheel at any speed up to 4.0 km/h.

Others provide hydrostatic assisted steering with a small diameter steering wheel, ensuring an accurate, fast response with little effort.

4) Low noise

Our forklifts are also designed to limit noise levels. The low noise levels of all our forklifts ensure operator concentration while reducing fatigue during long shifts.

Noise and vibration limiting features include rubber-mounted critical components, a fully insulated steel hood, and a specially designed transmission.

5) Improve visibility

The counterweight design of our trucks gives a clear view of the rear, allowing for safe maneuvering. Masts with narrow channels and small diameter lifting cylinders can increase front vision. Increased visibility ensures not only operator safety, but also worker safety in the wider environment.
